another look at issue no.1. setting up a situation that is historically based can really be a pain...you have to be aware of all the elements of the story and how to make them reasonably palatable for the reader. a good sense of history and the common is very helpful.

this is based on an actual event from this portion of joans life. i believe it to have helped to catalyze her future and used it to let the character reveal something about herself to the reader....
